MY JOURNEY IN YOGA STARTED MUCH LIKE YOURS…

I left the corporate world over 12 years ago, big salary and big demands on myself and my soul. I felt empty, I felt burnt out. Yoga was my saviour and it changed my life. When I began teaching yoga there wasn't mentoring support for yoga teachers and especially for yoga businesses. I felt confused, overwhelmed and had the worst comparison anxiety. I felt I wasn’t “good enough” and didn’t have what it takes, it was tough.

Yet I knew in my heart this is what I really loved, that I could make a real difference, to so many people, to their lives, sharing yoga. I soon realised that I wanted to develop my teaching into someting to be proud of and that I could grow into a thriving soulful business.

Having more than a decade of working in operational management and training roles in the beauty and wellbeing sector in London previous to teaching yoga, it seemed logical to bridge my business skills with my developing yoga career. I dug deep into what I really wanted my business to look and feel like.

I outlined my mission, vision and values. I created a yoga business based on yogic values, one that used business strategy but in a spiritual aligned way. I worked on developing my mindset, to navigate and create a heart led profitable business, I became an abundant soulpreneur!

And now my mission is to guide you exceptional yoga teachers, to feel confident, abundant and supported.

I put my heart into creating the yoga business I dreamt about rather than what I thought other people expected of me. As I set my vision of a thriving yoga retreat business, workshops, courses, events, and teaching at festivals, they went from my wish list of things to achieve, to becoming a reality, even appearing in national yoga press. I fully believed I could create anything I wanted to in my yoga business.

It all starts with mindset and vision. I went back to the roots of my yogic studies and found a way to create my Soul Purpose.

Those two things are the springboard to get you from going through the motions, from being in a state of lack, to one where you really believe in your dreams and can create anything you set your mind to.

After many years of running sold out yoga retreats, my successful yoga event businesses and after years of travels and studies through India, I knew I could help other teachers, ones that felt like I used to.

It was whilst I was in Marrakech hosting one of my retreats, that I sat down and designed my signature offering, The Yoga Teachers Mentorship. It sold out straight away, these teachers became good friends and I support them to this day. Your Yoga Career was founded in Sri Lanka, again during one of my retreats. I thought of all the ways I could support teachers to create the yoga career they dream of, the strategies, the know how and the signature supportive mentoring style that I offer.

My passion and soul purpose found it’s alignment, in supporting you!
