THE YOGA FOUNDATION MODULES:

With 4 informative Modules and lectures you will finish this course feeling confident and inspired to continue with your own home yoga practice, a daily meditation practice, a deeper understanding and experience of Pranayama, yogic breathwork, yoga philosophy, the various lineages, traditions and key yogic texts.

  • We will focus on understanding what a self practice is and the different approaches to yoga outside the yoga studio. We will work through a variety of sequences such as a gentle flow, a more energising flow and a short introduction to Ashtanga self practice.

    WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH:

    • This course will build your confidence in developing a home yoga practice and how to structure each session, what poses to do and their benefits.

    • No longer will you have to rely on studio classes in order to practise yoga, you’ll learn the traditional method of self practice.

    • An understanding of various types of yoga practices, listen to your body and what it needs.

    • Freedom to practise where ever you are! Bring your mat with you when you travel and always have an in home studio

  • Learn how to practice and develop Pranayama Practices such as Ujjayi Breath, Box Breathing (Kumbhakas), Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breath) and Kabhalbati as well as different types of meditation and kriya practices.

In the Yoga Foundation Course we will be covering The 8 Limb Path of Ashtanga on our Yoga Philosophy module. Learn the rich history of yoga spanning over 5000yrs and the various traditions and lineages of yogic practices.

Pip has been teaching yoga for a decade and spent 5 years in a row studying yogic practices from the source in India, she travelled extensively learning from great teachers in Mysore, Rishikesh and beyond. She has been studying and practicing Vipassana silent meditation for many years refining and deepening her understanding of yogic practices. Pip is passionate about sharing these practices in a way that’s tangible and transformational that you can integrate into your life for positive change and peace.
